• Defense of lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington alleging claims for libel, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligent infliction of emotional distress against corporate client.  Obtained dismissal of all claims on motion for summary judgment.
• Prosecution of lawsuit in the District Court of Harris County, State of Texas, alleging claims for libel and intentional infliction of emotional distress for individual client.  Obtained jury verdict in favor of client.
• Defense of purported class action in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, State of California, alleging violations of Section 17200 of the California Unfair Competition Law, Section 17500 of the California False Advertising Law, the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act, and breach of express warranty against corporate client.  Negotiated voluntary dismissal of claims after favorable decision denying class certification. 
• Defense of purported class action in the Circuit Court of Tuscaloosa County, State of Alabama, alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act against corporate client.  Negotiated voluntary dismissal of claims after favorable decision denying class certification. 
• Defense of lawsuit in the Circuit Court of Ingham County, State of Michigan, alleging violations of the Michigan Home Solicitation Act and Telephone Consumer Protection Act against corporate client.  Negotiated voluntary dismissal of claims.
• Defense of lawsuit in the Court of Common Pleas for Cuyahoga County, State of Ohio, alleging violations of Telephone Consumer Protection Act and Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act against corporate client.  Negotiated voluntary dismissal of claims.
