Brief Background:

Richard “Rick” Olsen is the founder and principal of The Olsen Law Firm, P.C.   Mr. Olsen established a national practice with an emphasis on commercial litigation and business-related matters.  He has successfully represented individual and corporate clients before federal and state courts, jury and non-jury trials, along with multiple arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations. 

Prior to forming his own firm, Mr. Olsen served in the litigation section of a prominent Houston law firm.  During his employment, the firm was consistently recognized by a national publication as a “Go-to-Law Firm” for litigation matters.  Mr. Olsen represented several Fortune companies in various facets of the law, including the defense of class action certification, corporate and executive liability, personal injury, and business torts.

Mr. Olsen was also employed as a Deputy Sheriff for the Harris County Sheriff’s Department in Houston, Texas.  Mr. Olsen served the citizens of Harris County as a patrolman, accident investigator, and inspector.  His law enforcement experience and perspective as a trial attorney continue to serve his clients on a daily basis.
